Pool Installation

INSTALLATION

Nulook Pools offer a complete package including full landscaping, tiling and paving using local contractors - this means you don't have to source several different quotes and organise separate trades to finish off the job.

The fibreglass swimming pool installation process is outlined below.
1. SURVEY THE PROPERTY
Surveying your property before the installation of your pool, we check access to the pool site so that we can manoeuvre our equipment onto the block. We check fences, trees or tree stumps, sprinklers and utilities. We need a clear, unobstructed path between the road and the swimming pool site.
2. LAY THE SWIMMING POOL TEMPLATE
Next we lay the swimming pool template down where you want the fibreglass pool installed. This will allow you to actually see the pool on the property and make sure you are happy with the size, shape and location.
3. EXCAVATION
We will meet the excavator on site and stay until the digging actually begins to make sure everything is being done according to plan. Excavations can usually be completed in one day. Large fibreglass pools or jobs requiring re-handling of dirt can take longer.
4. DOUBLE CHECK
LASER MEASUREMENTS
FOR THE SWIMMING POOL
We always double check measurements for your fibreglass pool to make sure that your new swimming pool is positioned correctly on the property.
5. TRENCH TO THE
PUMP STATION FOR PIPES
We dig a trench along side the swimming pool to the pump station for the pipes.
6. LOWER SWIMMING POOL INTO PREPARED BASE
Using a crane we maneouvre your fibreglass pool into position, carefully planned. The pool is then carefully lowered into the prepared base.
7. FINAL SWIMMING POOL POSITION ADJUSTMENTS
Final adjustments are made to the swimming pools position in the ground.
8. BACKFILL THE SWIMMING POOL
After the plumbing work is completed, dirt will be backfilled around the pool. Backfilling swimming pools generally takes about 4 hours depending on the size of the pool.
9. FILL THE SWIMMING POOL
AND FINISH BACK FILLING
When we finish back filling swimming pools this is where the kids can help. At this stage we check for leaks in the fibreglass pool.
10. PREPARING THE STRUCTURAL BOND BEAM
Steel reinforced structural bond beam is prepared around the outside of the pool.
11. POURING THE
STRUCTURAL BOND BEAM
The structural concrete bond beam is poured around the swimming pool.
12. POOL PAVING & LANDSCAPING
Paving stones are laid around the outside of the swimming pool, the finishing touches on fibreglass pools.
